When cleaning the beautiful etched glass table top, it's best to use a good quality, non-streaking window cleaner. Spray the glass lightly and then wipe it over with a clean, soft lint free towel. It's a pretty obvious one, but never use anything abrasive as this will scratch the surface. Move the cloth in circular motions to dry the glass after cleaning as this will help to prevent water marks and spots. We would advise with all of our tables not to place hot utensils straight from the oven onto the table's surface. Use something such as a table mat or wicker coaster and this will prevent the table surface becoming marked or slightly warped over time from the heat. For cleaning the faux leather chairs, we recommend doing a regular very mild clean with some warm water and washing up liquid. This stops the marks from general wear and tear building up and making the surface look grubby. When cleaning up food marks and spills, stick to using soft cloths applying a gentle amount of pressure in a circular motion. Scrubbing will crack the leather rather than help to remove the mark. It's always a good idea to spot clean on a small area of the faux leather that is out of plain site, before going ahead and cleaning the whole chair. Be careful of colour transfers from brand new clothing, such as denim and from clothing that uses darker dyes as this can potentially mark the leather.
As with all of our dining tables, this piece is delivered unassembled. We do this to make the products as streamlined as possible for transport, ensuring that it gets to you in great condition. While the Camillo Table is very simple to assemble, we do recommend you take special care during assembly, starting with a blanket on the floor to protect the glass. To assemble the Camillo, screw the metal bars onto the pedestal base then turn upside down and screw to the glass laying face down on the floor. Then screw the penny base to the pedestal using the fittings provided. Carefully turn the table the right way up, taking care not to put too much pressure on the glass surface - we'd recommend you get a couple of friends around to help you as the table is very heavy. The chairs are fully assembled so they come right out the box and are ready for use. As soon as they are delivered you are ready to start using them. All we ask is that you keep hold of the packing until you are sure that you are going to keep the chairs, that way you can make full use of our Total Satisfaction Guarantee, should you decide for any reason that you would like to return the chairs.
